SOAR and CAS Form Working Agreement
Newport Beach, California – February 11, 2011– Source One Aircraft Repair (SOAR), an aftermarket leader in AOG and Field Repair Services, has added Certified Aviation Services (CAS), an FAA/EASA certified line and heavy maintenance provider to the SOAR Network for AOG and Heavy Repair Services globally.
“We are pleased to include CAS as part of our growing network of high quality providers,” stated Jim Jijawi, Managing Director of SOAR. “The larger our network, the more responsive we become to the varied and multiple needs of the aviation aftermarket.”
SOAR is the single most experienced field AOG provider, apart from the OEMs. Its core team possesses decades of field experience, such as evaluation, recovery, repair and modification, gained from McDonnell Douglas and Boeing’s Recovery and Modification Services (RAMS) organizations.
With over two decades of experience, CAS is a world-class provider of line and heavy maintenance, appearance services and aircraft modification services for commercial and military aircraft. CAS distinguished itself by providing its customers with innovative, cost-effective solutions when and where they need it. Currently, CAS has 21 locations throughout the United States and holds two FAA 145 repair station licenses, serving virtually every aircraft in operation. CAS provides services in ATL, BWI, CLT, DFW, IAH, LAS, LAX, LGA, LGB, MCO, ONT, ORD, PHL, PHX, PWM, SBD, SAN, SEA, SFB,
SFO and SNA. For more information about CAS, visit the CAS website at www.CertifiedAviation.com.
Together, SOAR and CAS can quickly and more affordably dispatch teams, with distinct core capabilities, to AOG incidents globally.
